The Meaning of the Symbol
This symbol was developed to visually represent and express a current and common American concern, the preservation of the English language as the single language of the United States of America. It is intended to express the wide-spread concern that immigrants make an effort to learn the English language rather than rely on the United States of America to spend increasingly more tax dollars to accommodate the growing amount of Non-English speaking residents.

Learning to communicate with the rest of America opens the door to a limitless number of opportunities.

The United States expresses in its official seal the Latin phrase “E Pluribus Unum”, which means “From the Many, One.” This statement is at the heart of what the United States has stood for since its inception—a shelter and beacon of opportunity where many cultures have combined and become one. The United States, from its earliest conception, is a success story of assimilation. Only a few basic requirements have been necessary for immigrants to assimilate and to become US citizens. The primary requirement has been to learn English, the language of commerce and all information in the United States. Immigrants come to this country to prosper and knowing the English Language is essential to the continued success of all Americans.
